Hello, I'm Gabrielle Alam, founder of Breathe2Sleep. For decades, I lived a fast-paced life, believing I could push my body to its limits, trading sleep for productivity and entertainment. But as I entered midlife, burnout, menopause, and unresolved trauma converged into a health crisis that forced me to reevaluate everything.
Insomnia became my nightly companion, and sleep apnea left me waking up exhausted every morning. It was a cycle that seemed impossible to break until I discovered the Buteyko breathwork method.
Applying Buteyko techniques transformed my sleep patterns dramatically. For the first time in years, I started waking up feeling refreshed and energised. This experience sparked a shift in my life's direction, leading me to train at the Buteyko Clinic International.
My health, wellbeing and fitness level has re-gained momentum, and reconnecting to my true Self; and it is from this space that I would like to convey this message to anyone who may need it:
I want to be here and for you to facilitate your journey back to deep, restorative sleep and ultimately reconnecting to your healthy, happy and authentic, best version of yourself.
Today, my mission is clear: to guide people to sleep better, deeper, and wake up refreshed—every single day. I believe that how you feel tomorrow really starts today. By re-educating your breathing, we can transform your sleep and, by extension, your entire life.
My approach goes beyond just treating symptoms. I look at the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Using breathwork as a bridge, we address the deep, underlying issues that many traditional medical practices overlook.
Together, we'll work on:
When you work with me, you're getting a partner who understands firsthand the frustration of chronic sleep issues and the joy of overcoming them. Whether we meet in West London, Glastonbury, or online, I'm committed to providing personalised, compassionate care.
Remember, it's never too late to reclaim your sleep and your health.
Your journey to better sleep—and a better life—starts with a single breath.
Are you ready to take that breath with me?
